first half completed & beta details

as it currently stands, the first half of the game, which includes most of the story, is playable from beginning to middle.

a few things have been changed, including:

-tact stat affects your turn rate and increases with level, causing the game to increase pace slowly over time.

-added status effects: poison, bleed, vulnerable, regen, and asphyxiate.

-how abilities are learned is unique to each character. Elgoth using spells in battle, Zivel taking down or assisting in defeating enemies, Maxxi by gaining EXP (old-fashioned way), and Myryon by acquiring artifacts.

-eating food: foods can be eaten over time, and will restore both you and your partner for a portion of thier maximum health or SP.

these changes are the most recent developments, as most of the work has gone into making sure the cutscenes and other animations work like they need to. some new screenshots have been added as well.

I have also discovered a pretty steep difficulty spike that I will probably end up smoothening out, but not eliminating completely.
